Boots Haul

Image
Evening all! I know what you're probably thinking, another haul?! But there was a couple of things I wanted to pick up, so off me and Gracie went to Boots, and got caught in the hail and snow! My poor little lady has been having allot of tummy pain, and they even though she might have appendicitis, so I've not been taking her out that much. Plus my Fibromyalgia has been majorly effecting me, so in all honesty I've been quite happy with a nice slow pace. But we were visiting friends in the afternoon, so it was a nice little trip along the way. Gracie loves going to Boots and Superdrug, and always leaves with swatches all over her, the same as me! The first thing I want to show you is the Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara. This was the main thing I wanted to get as I know it's new and people have been loving it so far. This isn't the cheapest of the drugstore mascaras at £8.99 but I don't mind paying that for a good one. I'll keep you updated on...

Current Top 5 Favourite Lipsticks

Image
As I've done so many nail posts in a row, I thought I'd shake things up a bit and talk about something else. So what is my other obsession apart from Nail Polish? Lipstick! Although to be honest lipstick is actually my longest running love, as I've always had a soft spot for it since being an iddly biddy girly. As I haven't done a favourites for so long I thought I'd let you know which lipsticks are getting my attention at the moment. Mac's Jubilee has been one of my favourites for a while as it's so easy to wear and goes with everything. Mac describe it as a 'nude beige pink', but I'd say it leans more on the browny beige side with pink undertones. Being a lustre it is a little sheer but also very moisturising. I usually get a couple of hours wear out of it. I think this would suit all skin tones, thus making it a great staple for anyones collection. Mac's Viva Glam Gaga 2 is one that I got towards the end of las...

Face of the Day using Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette

Image
Good evening all, I'm absolutely LOVING my new Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette so I thought I'd do another face of the day using it. As I sit here typing I'm in quite allot of pain, I had a shaving related incident in the bath... There I was innocently shaving my legs when I dropped the razor and tried to catch it, but actually ended up pushing it in to my leg and it sliced sideways, OUCH! So I now have a nice 5 inch slice down the back of my left leg :-( But anyways, lets get on with my face of the day. FACE Primer - ELF Mineral Face Primer Foundation - L'oreal True Match Foundation Concealer - MAC Studio Finish in NC15 Powder - ELF Mineral Booster in Sheer Contour - Bronzer in ELF Studio Contour/Blush Compact Blush - ELF in Blushing Rose Highlight - MeMeMe Beat the Blues in Moonbeam & ELF Gotta Glow Topped off with ELF HD Powder EYES Primer - ELF Eyelid Primer in Pearl Inner Half of Lid - Urban Decay in Midnight 15 Outer Half of Li...

August Superdrug Haul

Image
Well, I told myself after last months shopping and my huge ELF order last week that I wouldn't be doing much more shopping in the next few weeks. I'm usually fairly safe when it comes to superdrug, because i have to go at least 25 minutes to get to my nearest store. But... Superdrug had free delivery on their website so I had to take advantage! As you can see from the pic, I picked up 'a few bits'. MUA Eyeshadow, left to right, Shade 4 Pearl, Shade 7 Pearl, Shade 12 Pearl. Swatched in the same order MUA Pearl Eyeshadows £1.00 for 2g of product. What can I say about these? I think the first word I said when I swatched them was WOW! They only cost £1.00 and the packaging is quite plastic and cheap looking, but the shadows inside are lovely and pigmented and so pretty. Shade 12 is a duo-chrome, some even say a dupe for MAC's Club. These are definately worth the money in my opinion, and I wouldn't hesitate in buying more. The words Oh and Dear spring to m...

Huge ELF Haul Lips

Image
So here we have the next part of my HUGE ELF haul. In this post you'll see all of the lip products I bought. I'm a bit of a lipstick junkie, in fact, before I did this shopping I already had over 100! But with the 50% off, and I'd heard so many good things about these, I had to have some. Tea Rose Tea Rose swatched Studio Matte Lip Colour in Tea Rose usual price £3.50 for 1.8g of product. I only got one of these because I wasn't sure if I'd like the matte look, but it's actually very nice. I wouldn't say it's completely matte though but I was pleased at this. Tea Rose is a creamy pinky/lilac and I ADORE it lol. A bit annoyed at myself for not buying more, but I'm sure they'll have another sale on soon. Top to bottom, Classy, Seductive, Fantasy. Swatched top to bottom Classy, Seductive, Fantasy. Here we have the lipstick from their £1.50 lips line. You get 3.5g of product for that £1.50 but as I got them in the 50% sale they were ...
