Don't Judge Me!

Image
Right, I know this is getting out of hand now, but do you know what? I don't feel bad... It's hard work being a single Mum, especially when you live with a disease that effects you on a daily basis, so why shouldn't I treat myself to things for my nails?  Left to right, Sally Hansen Supershine, Gel Cuticle Remover, Advanced Hard As Nails, Double Duty, Continuous Treatment.  First off let's start with the Sally Hansen nail care. You know I like to try out base and top coats, plus I use them up really quickly as I'm painting my nails pretty much every day at the moment. You may have noticed as a result of me doing my nails so often, my poor cuticles have not been looking too great so I grabbed some cuticle oil and remover.  Left to right, Sally Hansen Sea & Be Seen, Metallic Momentum, Pepto Pink, Grape Going!,  Whirlwind White, Gold Flash.  Next we have the Sally Hansen Insta Dri's . I was really impressed with the others that I've alrea...

Good Enough To Eat Pink Wednesday

Image
Orly Top 2 Bottom, 2 coats Ciate Jelly Bean, no top coat, with flash. I know,I know, I'm doing an awful lot of posts about nail polish recently, but I can't help it! I think that you should always write about what you know and what you are really loving at the moment. I am completely polish obsessed and proud of it. This Juicy little beauty really does look good enough to eat, doesn't she? Ciate Jelly Bean is a fantastic bright pink with some very subtle blue shimmer throughout. The blue shimmer looks allot more prominent in the bottle and almost disappears on the nail. To be honest I think this beautiful pink stands on it's own without the shimmer though. What do you think? Formula wise this lovely creme polish is outstanding as I've found with the other Ciate I've tried. She was opaque with the first coat, but as you know I always have to do two, and I think the extra coat makes the colour more vibrant. Drying time was good and a lovely finish, it ...

Orly Top 2 Bottom, 2 coats Ciate Bon Bon,,  Stamping White Konad, Orly in a Snap Top Coat , with flash.  Puja from Cute Nails has set up a new group called We Love Nails . I will be doing a nail challenge every week on a Tuesday. If you'd like to know more,  click here   to check out the post on Puja's blog, This weeks challenge was to do a french or reverse mani, so I got my stamping plates out! I decided to use one of my new freebie polishes as the base colour and I chose Ciate Bon Bon . She is a beautiful purpleish taupe and sooo pretty! I wont go too much in to detail about this polish now, as I have a review of her coming soon!  As above, no flash. For the stamping I used this absolutely gorgeous design from my Bundle Monster plate BM217 with Konad White. The design is actually flowers, but I think it gives a beautiful lacey effect, don't you? I have to admit, I found it a little difficult lining up the design on t...

Woohoo More Freebies!

Image
A couple of days ago I was reading Beauty By Emma's blog and I came accross her post about some of this months freebies ( to take a look at Emma's blog click here ). There are some great freebies around so I had to pop down to the town and grab some of them, and I thought I'd share which ones I got. First up is Glamour, and this month (July edition) they are giving away three Benefit products. I got the BadGal Lash Mascara and The Pore fessional primer. Like many of you I love Benefit, and as they are so expensive it's nice to get a couple of them for free! Left to right, Jelly Bean, Bon Bon, Purple Sherbert. Next up is Marie Claire, and they are giving away Ciate Paint Pots. As you know, I'm really getting in to my nails lately so I was really happy to pick all three of these up. The colours are all nice and I think there's something for everyone. Last but not least we have Red and they are giving away Jemma Kidd. You can either have a m...
