HUGE ELF HAUL!!! Part 1 Eyes

Image
Ok, so I may have gone a little over the top on my order for ELF when I received the e-mail telling me of their 50% sale... SO to make myself feel a little better, and so that you don't get bored, I've split the haul into 3 parts. Funnily enough I thought I'd categorise them into Eyes, Lips and Face products. I have ordered from ELF before and I liked some of the products, but to be honest don't use some of the others. Such as the nail varnish I had, although to be fair this was two years ago, and from what I've read they've really upped their game. So I clicked away and managed to put a whopping 42 items in my basket! Oopsie... Lets start with this Eyebrow Kit in Medium from the Studio Line. This usually costs £3.50 for 2g of product, like most of the Studio Line. I like the packaging, it's sleek and black with white lettering. It's basic, nothing fancy but you do get a handy little mirror inside. To be honest I don't really re-do my brows thhr...

REVIEW: Soap and Glory Flake Away Body Polish

Image
This product's usual price from Boots is £6.64 for 300ml of this delicious smelling scrub (Body Polish) which I think is a very reasonable price for such a fab item. The packaging is very nice being in a nice big screw top tub, but I find if you leave it on the side of the bath, the sticker on the side of the tub actually peels off leaving you with a plain tub with just a picture on It has quite a sweet scent, as have all of the products in their 'Original Pink' range. I think someone recently likened it to Miss Dior Cherie perfume, so if you like that you'll like this. The scent isn't too over powering though but it does smell nice when you are applying in the shower and with all the steam! This scrub has shea butter, sugar, peach seed powder, skin smmoothing sea salt, grapeseed and almond oils. The texture is very grainy so you feel like you are getting a great exfoliation but without being harsh and scratchy. To apply it all you have to do is rub some bet...

Soap and Glory Big Beauty Bundle!!

Image
ALL THE PRODUCTS So, this is the second part of my Soap and Glory haul. When I was at the counter in Boots, the guy behind the counter said to me that it was quite clear I liked Soap and Glory (I had just bought quite a few items as you can see from my last haul post!) and did I know they had a deal online to buy a beauty bundle box with products worth over £80 for just £35, not only that but you'll also get 500 advantage card points too. Well, I felt a bit naughty but I managed to trick my mind into thinking it was logical to buy a shed load more products, why not!? Well as it happens, I looked online when I got home and it was actually all different products to the ones I'd purchased on the day. Well, I couldn't resist I had to order one! And only a few days later the box arrived and here is what I found... Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub (Spa Range) Usual price £9.45 for 450ml I was pleased to see a body scrub as I really do enjoy the flake away scr...

A FEW OF MY FAVOURITE THINGS JUNE 2011

Image
Here are some of my favourite and current products I've been using. Please let me know if you'd like me to review anything in further detail. Some of the products are new and some of them I've been using for a while. I'm always on the look out for new products to try so please let me know if you can recommend anything or if you want me to try something and review it for you. Eyeshadow Mac- Naked Lunch . I really love to use this all over the lid, as a highlight or on the inner corner. It's a beautiful shimmery shade and goes with most other colours. Mac- All that Glitters . This is a lovely golden shimmery shade and I tend to use this all over the lid or in the outside of the lid. It goes particularly well with all the other shadows shown in the pallet. Mac-Sketch . This is a beautiful deep plum shade with some shimmer. It's a great shade to use in the crease or in the outer v. Stila-Jezebel . This is a lovely coppery, peachy bronze colour. I love the cosistency...
